Would you make a great addition to our team?

The Crossing employs casual staff to support our work with young people.  Staff have Wilderness or Remote First Aid, current Working with Children’s checks, and relevant experience and qualifications which often include outdoor recreation and permaculture and/or landcare and gardening experience. Occasional part-time contracts may also become available for a few months or longer and casual staff are usually approached first for these opportunities.  If you are interested in joining our team as a staff member please email your resume to

The Crossing also takes on capable volunteers to assist with camp maintenance projects and learn more about permaculture, landcare and sustainability.  Some volunteers may also stay for work experience as camp program assistants.  Please contact us through our email above if this appeals to you, most volunteering is conducted under a WOOFing arrangement which includes meals and accommodation in return for part time volunteering with time off to also explore the region.

Our Board of the Trust includes members with land management and conservation experience, outdoor leadership, education, counselling, business management, and marketing experience.
