Course Description
The Landcare Adventure Weekend starts with a hike journey to The Crossing camp and finishes with a canoe journey back to Bermagui. Two nights are spent at the Crossing in our train carriage bunkhouse.
The adventure begins at 5pm on Friday at the Bermagui bridge boat ramp. The course finishes at 1pm on the Sunday at the Bermagui bridge boat ramp, after the canoe journey.
The program includes Landcare & sustainability activities to learn skills in a fun and community focussed environment. On Saturday evening we will go for a twilight bush exploration, and tell stories around the campfire.
This Landcare Adventure weekend is a perfect opportunity to make friends with young people from other schools in the South East region and for year 6s to find out more about high school. By integrating year 6 and 7 there is a lot of learning to be had and a lot of fun. The games and the Landcare tree planting activity are great features of this camp.
The Crossing would like to thank the Far South Coast Landcare Association (FSCLCA) for their ongoing contribution to our Landcare programs. The FSCLA covers 50% of the cost of this program, keeping costs down for local families. You can learn more about their work at http://www.fscl.org.au/

Refund Policy
Deposits are transferable for cancellations made more than 30 days in advance of program dates, less an administration charge of 20%. Cancellations with less than 30 days notice are liable for the full charge. Part refunds will only be considered before the program starts for circumstances covered by a medical certificate. If a participant has to end their adventure early for any reason, a refund will not apply. Participants may be permitted to join the program next year if they are eligible or transfer to another program of equivalent or greater value.
