September 2016 ‘The common phrase ‘Life is about the journey, not the destination’ is highly relevant to the Sea to Snow Journey.  Somewhere between the challenges, the mental walls, the miserable weather and endless biking and hiking one realises that … some discover themselves, their limits and their potential… some see that they are achieving something that is seemingly impossible.  That if one had the passion they could quite possibly achieve anything … Lastly are the souls that share the mental expedition with you… You see their eyes ignite when they find themselves in their element… you see social fortification slowly being chipped away by good humour and the constant reliance on each other… My revelation was … that I may never see these amazing people and their beautiful minds ever again.’  Max, Queenslander on the Sea to Snow Journey, Queensland
